The Arnab brothers, Mohamed (12) and Abdulwahab (24) fled from Syria to Norway.
Yesterday, new restrictions for those who seek asylum in Norway was suggested. The said goal of these restrictions is to make Norway a less appealing destination.
To Abdulwahab and his brothers, the main reason for coming to Norway, is those that the minister of immigration, Sylvi Listhaug, can not take away.
Peace, religious freedom, equal rights, democracy.
What the restrictions might do though, is that if the period of temporary status is prolonged, so is the process of possible family reunion. Leaving families in a restless limbo of uncertainty.
